Shabbos Queen to zupełnie nowe podejście do tradycyjnego Szabatu – połączenie żydowskiego rytuału, performansu oraz uczty – tym razem w przestrzeni Chederu. Stuart B Meyers wprowadzi Was w inny wymiar, wolny od dynamicznego świata codziennego, pozwoli odpocząć Waszym umysłom – a to wszystko w towarzystwie dźwięków muzyki, pysznego jedzenia oraz specjalnie dobranego drinka.

Stuart B Meyer to queerowy artysta oraz performer pochodzenia żydowskiego. Zajmuje się teatrem tańca, organizuje wszelkiego rodzaju wydarzenia „żydowskie”, tworzy także instalacje wideo. Dotychczas współpracował z takimi artystami jak Robert Wilson, Christopher Williams, Thomas Bo Nilsson, Colette Sadler, Julian Webber, Nick Cave, Ann Liv Young, A.R.M. czy Tino Sehgal, występując między innymi w Martin Gropius Bau (Berlin), The Stedelijk (Amsterdam), Schaubuhne (Berlin), Southbank Centre (Londyn), The Park Avenue Armory, The High Line oraz The Shed (Nowy Jork).

Part ritual, part performance and a homemade five-course meal, *The Shabbos Queen* is a new, queer take on an old Jewish ritual: Shabbat. With inspirations ranging from Barbra Streisand to Kabbalah, *The Shabbos Queen* creates a sweet and kind-of sexy stop from the fast-paced world. It's an everybody-welcome evening which offers a taste of paradise, for unwinding, dreaming & togetherness.

Stuart B Meyers is a Queer, Jewish artist and performer. He creates dance theatre, Jew-ish events and video installations. Stuart's worked alongside Robert Wilson, Christopher Williams, Thomas Bo Nilsson, Colette Sadler, Julian Webber, Nick Cave, Ann Liv Young, A.R.M. and Tino Sehgal, and has performed in venues including Martin Gropius Bau (Berlin), The Stedelijk (Amsterdam), Schaubuhne (Berlin), Southbank Centre (London), The Park Avenue Armory, The High Line, and The Shed (NYC).
